Use cases mirror those of the regular taxi but with added directional meaning: someone hailing a cab that's coming toward them, or a taxi arriving at their location. The front-facing view suggests active movement—the cab is coming your way. It's commonly used when sharing that a ride is about to arrive or when excitedly watching for a taxi to pull up.
